Player Boosts

Talk to the Buff Shop NPC anywhere and spend Donation Points on these. Everything here is account-wide - it applies to every character on your account, not just the one you bought it on.

Temporary buffs (DP per hour)

These double your current bonus stat for however many hours you buy. They stack in duration (buying more hours just adds to your remaining time) and keep counting down through logout and server restarts - check your remaining time with @buff in-game.

BuffCostWhat it does
EXP Buff15 DP / hourDoubles your current bonus EXP % for the duration.
Drop Buff10 DP / hourDoubles your current bonus Drop Rate % for the duration.
ETC Buff10 DP / hourDoubles the amount of ETC items you get from drops for the duration.
Meso Buff10 DP / hourDoubles your current bonus Meso Rate % for the duration.

If your bonus stat is already at its maximum possible value for your level, buying that particular buff won't do anything - the NPC will tell you if that's the case before you spend anything.

Permanent purchases (one-time or repeatable)

PurchaseCostWhat it does
Permanent Status Resistance Immunity 300 DP
(one-time only)
100% Status Resistance, forever, on every character. See "Status Resistance" below.
Damage Resist +10% 100 DP
(repeatable, stacks)
Adds +10% Damage Resist, permanently, every time you buy it. See "Damage Resistance" below.

What's the difference between Damage Resistance and Status Resistance?

They sound similar but protect against completely different things:

Damage ResistanceStatus Resistance
Protects againstThe raw damage number from a monster's hitAbnormal status effects (stun, freeze, poison, seal, etc.)
How it worksCuts a percentage off the damage you take from every hitA percentage chance to fully block a status effect from landing on you at all
Can you max it out?Capped at 90% total from all sources combined (gear, Link Skills, this shop) - and even then, normal monster hits only ever get reduced by up to 75% in practiceYes - the 300 DP purchase above is a flat 100%, guaranteed, forever
Does it prevent dying to a big level gap?Only partially - it softens an oversized hit from a much higher-level monster, it doesn't stop the hit from being oversized in the first place. A big enough level gap can still one-shot you even at high Damage Resist.N/A - not related to raw damage at all

Check your current Damage Resist any time with @stats ("Total Damage Resist") in-game.
